Yes, it can! The Dog Pod can be easily installed in both the back and front seats. The setup remains the same: simply attach the strap around the rear folding seat to secure it in place. This ensures your pet stays safe and comfortable no matter where you place the Pod.

I wanted a car bed that would fit both of our Italian greyhounds, one being 12.5 years old, and the other being 12 weeks old. I saw a friend with this bed and I knew I had to have it. The second it arrived and we put it up, our puppy was straight in there and went to sleep. As soon as we’d unpacked and assembled her dog pod, our Irish Terrier, Vesper, plonked herself straight in and settled down. She loves curling up in it and going to sleep after a long, muddy walk! It’s excellent quality, and I’m really pleased with it. Worth every penny!
We bought these for our girls, as they have anxiety in the car. We also wanted a better safety solution for journeys. I cannot recommend these highly enough. My eldest girl fell asleep in the car, for the first time in years. She has serious heart problems, so we have to keep her stress to a minimum. Travelling was always a worry, but not anymore!

We adopted a 16 week old puppy. While not sick, he was clearly very nervous in the car. He was restless and constantly licking his lips. I bought this and the difference is genuinely astonishing. He jumped in and fully relaxed. We took our first longer journey and he slept in it. He's fully secure and can reposition himself easily. Great product - easy to assemble / install - great quality and looks super comfy. Photo shows our puppy’s first trip (apologies for the cardboard we were off to the tip!) and he was completely relaxed as you can see. Just waiting for the harnesses to come back in stock to add. Definitely recommend
We love this big cosy car seat. There is ample room for 3 Chihuahuas to snooze and laze around. It is so secure on the seat and easily removed from the isofix fittings. Our 3 give it a big paws up.
Our miniature dachshund, Lily, fell foul of IVDD & had a back operation to fix a bulging disc. She is now recovering well & is walking again, but has been all very stressful. We needed a rethink to keep her safe & secure in the back of the car. We found the Luther Bennett website & were immediately sold with the travel pod. Isofix was a must & with the additional straps the super comfy pod fits very securely. Lily & her parents are very happy with the product & we would definitely recommend.

She was given access to it in the house for a couple of days, and then we tried it in the car. She is a good traveller anyway, but was so comfy and cosy in it from the first trip and often doesn't want to get out.
The quality of the pod is exceptional and it feels very secure. I would not hesitate to recommend this product. It is well worth the price and my dog is delighted.
Customer service is also excellent, and shorter than standard straps were issued promptly, and free of charge, upon enquiry.

As suggested we’ve gotten Ronnie used to the car seat in the house where he can play and is surrounded by his toys! The seat fits easily in the car and is of fantastic quality.
Mabel gets very anxious travelling in the car. We have only done short journeys so far but she seems very happy and comfortable. When putting it together she got in straight away and fell asleep 😴

Wish she had really good things about Luther Bennett’s Travel Pod, so we figured it was about time that we gave it a try.
Poppy went from panting and restless to cozy down and all sat up looking around happily on our very first trip.
The quality is excellent, it’s very easy to assemble and we love the fact that it has ISO-fix too.
It really is true when they say “ this is the last travel bed you’ll ever need to buy”.
I am so pleased I chose the Luther Benett dog pod. I had hesitated for ages looking at various other brands but none looked so well made and the reviews sold it. Percy suffers from arthritis and had become very unhappy travelling. He then needed and operation on his cruciate ligament. Straightaway he climbed in his pod and went to sleep. He loves it in the car. I exchanged several emails with Rayelle and her customer service was exceptional. She is so thoughtful, helpful and understanding. I highly recommend the dog pod and this company.
Great product however the internal strap for the harness to attach to needs to be small or alternatively have one you can order that is puppy size, my puppy can currently get out of the pod while attached!
We bought the dog pod as we knew we had a long journey to take him back to the breeder (our daughter) before our own trip away. As soon as it was put together he wanted to sleep in it! No pics of him going down but there is a pic of Indiana Bones looking like a regal prince on his equally comfy and totally stress free journey home. Would thoroughly recommend.
Our little 12 week old puppy Iris loves her dog pod, she jumped in as soon as I had unpacked it at home. The quality is fabulous, really padded and sturdy and I love the coffee colour. It was really easy to fit in my car.

Anxious 14 year old terrier loves the car seat. We are taking it slowly. He hasn’t been out in the car yet but he goes off into the sitting room on his own and gets into the bed where he gives himself a good grooming! He seems very calm and happy in it. Fingers crossed for the car ride!
Our dog loves her pod. It’s like a booster seat. She is able to look out the window when going on her walk. On the way back snuggles in and goes to sleep.

Chewie loves his new bed and is comfy. Although it is too small for two small dogs in my opinion and the XL takes up a while back seat. Also the zips do open quite easily and I have to keep zipping them up when he has been in there for a while. I also don’t think the price is set at the right level, it’s quite expensive for what it is.
